My Color Copies prints full-color booklets, training manuals, workbooks, catalogs, and programs from your finished file. An 8-page saddle-stitched booklet (5.5 x 8.5) is $1.57 each for 100; a 50-page comb-bound training manual is $13.45 each. Bound orders are ready in 1–2 business days, with $10 flat shipping (free over $125) or free pickup in Mapleton, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.
Saddle-stitched (folded and stapled through the spine) is the economical choice for thinner booklets, programs, and catalogs. Comb or spiral bound (same price) is best for thicker training manuals and workbooks that need to lie flat on a desk.

How it adds up: each sheet printed on both sides is priced as a color copy, with the rate set by the total sheets in your order (letter $0.64 / $0.54 / $0.46 at 100 / 250 / 500+ sheets; 11 x 17 $0.94 / $0.84). Saddle-stitched booklets add $0.02 per sheet folding and $0.25 per booklet stitching. Comb or spiral binding is $1.95 per book up to 100 pages and $2.95 per book over 100 pages. How much does booklet printing cost?
A full-color 8-page saddle-stitched booklet (5.5 x 8.5) is $1.57 each for 100, or $157 total with free shipping. A 16-page booklet is $2.49 each for 100 ($249). Each letter sheet printed on both sides makes 4 booklet pages; the per-sheet rate is $0.64, dropping to $0.54 once an order reaches 250 sheets, plus $0.02 per sheet folding and $0.25 per booklet saddle-stitching.
How much does it cost to print a training manual?
Training manuals are printed on 8.5 x 11 sheets, both sides, and comb bound. A 50-page manual (25 sheets) is $13.45 each in a run of 25: $0.46 per sheet at 500+ sheets plus $1.95 comb binding. Comb binding is $1.95 per book up to 100 pages and $2.95 over 100 pages, so a 150-page manual is $37.45 each in a run of 10. Covers are available for an added charge.
Do you offer spiral binding?
Yes. Spiral (coil) binding is the same price as comb binding: $1.95 per book up to 100 pages and $2.95 over 100 pages. Both let manuals lie flat; spiral binding also lets pages fold all the way back.
What is the difference between saddle-stitched, comb, and spiral binding?
Saddle-stitched booklets are folded and stapled through the spine, like a program or catalog. They are the most economical choice for thinner booklets, and the page count must be a multiple of 4. Comb and spiral binding punch holes along the edge and add a plastic comb or a spiral coil, so thicker manuals lie flat on a desk and pages can be any count. Comb and spiral binding are the same price: $1.95 per book up to 100 pages, $2.95 over 100 pages.
How many pages can a saddle-stitched booklet have?
The page count must be a multiple of 4 (8, 12, 16, 20, and so on). Thicker books are comb bound instead. Tell us your page count and we will recommend the right binding.
How fast can booklets and manuals be printed?
Bound booklets and manuals are ready in 1–2 business days after your file is approved and paid. Then they ship by USPS Priority Mail (typically 2–3 days) or are ready for free pickup in Mapleton, Utah, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.
What paper do you use for booklets?
Inside pages are printed on 98-brightness 24lb/28lb Hammermill paper, which works well for manuals and text-heavy booklets. For photo-heavy booklets and catalogs, 80# gloss text (+$0.05 per letter sheet, +$0.10 per 11 x 17 sheet) makes images look richer. Cardstock covers are available for an added charge.
Do comb-bound manuals come with covers?
Covers are available for an added charge and quoted with your order. You can also include a cover page in your file and we will print it with the rest of the manual.
How should I set up my booklet file?
Send a PDF with the pages in reading order, one page per page, at the finished size. We arrange the pages for printing. For saddle-stitched booklets, make the page count a multiple of 4 and add blank pages if needed. Keep text at least 1/4 inch from the edges and the spine.
Do you design booklets or manuals?
No. We print from your finished file and check page order, margins, and image quality before printing. Many people build manuals in Word or Google Docs and export them to PDF.
Do you print black-and-white manuals?
Yes. Full color is priced above. Black-and-white printing is available and quoted per job, which is often the most economical choice for text-heavy training manuals.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Small runs are welcome; even a handful of manuals can be printed. Send your file, page count, and quantity for an exact price.
