Using an AI-generated image? Check the size first. Most AI images are too small for a sharp print and come out soft or blurry. A full 8.5 x 11 page needs a picture about 2550 x 3300 pixels. We can fix it: AI upscaling is $10 per file, or $20 with minor text fixes. We tell you the price first, and there is no charge if it does not look good. Not sure? Brochure Options to Consider

A few simple choices help us price and print your brochure correctly.

Tri-Fold Brochures

One of the most common brochure formats. Good for business services, menus, events, programs, and informational pieces.

Half-Fold Brochures

A simple fold that works well for programs, announcements, menus, church handouts, and school information.

Z-Fold Brochures

A useful option when the brochure panels are meant to open in a step-by-step or spread-out format.

Flat Brochures

Use a flat brochure when you want the feel of a flyer but with more polished paper or more detailed information.

Paper Choice

Standard paper works well for everyday brochures. Heavier or glossy paper can make the piece feel more finished.

Rush Timing

If you have a deadline, include it with your quote or order request so we can confirm timing before printing.

Which brochure fold is best for you?

My Color Copies prints brochures in runs of 100 or more from your finished file. The right fold depends on how much you need to say and how the brochure will be used.

  • Best for businesses and menus: Tri-fold. A letter sheet folds to about 3.67 x 8.5 inches and gives you six panels for services, menus, and events. 100 two-sided tri-folds on standard paper cost $69.
  • Best for programs and announcements: Half-fold. A letter sheet folds to 5.5 x 8.5 inches, which works for church handouts and school information.
  • Best for step-by-step layouts: Z-fold, where the panels open out in sequence.
  • Best for a bigger, flatter piece: A flat brochure on heavier or glossy paper, when you want the feel of a flyer with more detail.
  • Not the right fit if: You need us to design the brochure. We print your finished file and do not design brochures.

Brochure Printing Questions

A few quick answers before you request a quote or place your brochure order.

How much does brochure printing cost?

A letter-size (8.5 x 11) tri-fold brochure, printed on both sides and folded, is $0.69 each for 100–249, dropping to $0.37 each at 2,000 or more. 80# gloss text paper adds $0.05 per brochure. For example, 100 two-sided tri-fold brochures on standard paper cost $69 plus shipping at cost; on gloss paper they are $74 plus shipping at cost. Minimum order is $25 in printing.

How fast can I get brochures printed?

Orders placed and paid by 11:00 AM Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, ship the same day, already folded. Later orders ship the next business day. Delivery is USPS Priority Mail, typically 2–3 days after shipping.

How much is shipping, and is there a minimum order?

Shipping is charged at cost and added to your order, or you can pick up free at our shop in Mapleton, Utah, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM. The minimum order is $25 in printing; tax and shipping are not counted toward it. Published pricing starts at 100 brochures, and smaller quantities are welcome with a quote.

What paper is best for brochures?

80# gloss text is the most popular brochure paper. It feels more substantial than copy paper, folds cleanly, and makes photos look richer, for $0.05 more per letter-size brochure. Our standard 24lb/28lb Hammermill paper works well for budget handouts and programs.

What sizes and folds can you print?

The most common is a letter-size (8.5 x 11) sheet folded into a tri-fold (about 3.67 x 8.5) or half-fold (5.5 x 8.5). A tabloid (11 x 17) sheet folds in half to a 4-page 8.5 x 11 brochure. We also fold z-fold brochures, print one- or two-sided, and print legal-size (8.5 x 14) brochures. Tell us the fold type on the order form.

What file should I send, and do you design brochures?

PDF is best. High-resolution JPG and PNG files also work, and Word or ZIP files are fine too. My Color Copies prints from your finished file and does not design brochures, so send the panels in the correct order. We check panel order and fold lines before anything prints and before you pay.
